The Yankee Ladder: Elevated Access.
Our proprietary, patent-pending Yankee Ladder system is our answer to intercity sites. Engineered and load tested to meet all OSHA standards, our system gives crews vertical and horizontal access to equipment. The debris netted platforms provide an ultimate safety net.
Why wireless techs love The Yankee Ladder:
Comfortable reach: Ladders are positioned adjacent to each antenna, dramatically facilitating the installation of upper antenna mounts, access to existing mounts, and troubleshooting at the end of every job. Techs clip off to the rungs at the perfect position to access any part of the antenna—no rappelling required.
Faster workflows: Walk to the roof edge, descend the ladder, and you’re on a platform. This platform permits the crews to move horizontally across the wall to the next antenna or to the radios.
Debris containment: All platforms are lined with debris netting so loose hardware and tools cannot fall.
Low footprint, less disruption: Minimal street/sidewalk occupation and simpler permitting than full building wraps.
Eliminates crane days: No crane rental, windy day shutdowns, rigging crew, or street closures, except for at the beginning and end of the job — avoids costly mobilizations, the need for public-way permits, and unnecessary coordination for the project manager.
How the Yankee Ladder works:
The individual ladders are installed from the roof down to the sector antennas and radios.
To conform with OSHA standards, the ladders are suspended from custom-designed and load tested brackets.
Antenna-adjacent positioning: Each ladder is placed beside the antenna/radio.
Lower work platform: a netted platform at the bottom creates a stable walkway to move laterally across the sector.
Debris-netted enclosure: platforms and guardrails are wrapped so nothing can fall.
100 percent tie-off: The Yankee Ladder system requires 100% tie off for all personnel. The platform is rated for 35 pounds per square foot.
Safety and compliance:
Built for Safety. Backed by Engineering: The Yankee Ladder system is engineered, tested, and OSHA-compliant, so crews can work confidently knowing their access system meets the highest safety standards.
Verified by Licensed Structural Engineers: Our ladders have been reviewed and stamped by professional structural engineers. This ensures that every setup is sound.
25 Years of Proven Performance: With hundreds of successful installations across New England, our system has earned the trust of clients across the wireless industry.
Custom Stamped Safety Plans: We can prepare site-specific safety plans for each project upon request for a fee, detailing inspection, setup, and fall-protection protocols compliant with OSHA and local building departments.
Load-Tested for Peace of Mind: Independently load-tested to exceed IBC 2021 standards, our ladders deliver the strength, reliability, and compliance that keep workers — and project managers — confident at every height.
